NATIONAL CADET CORPS
NCC MOTTO: “UNITY AND DISCIPLINE”
In alignment with the ideals of the National Cadet Corps—character development, discipline, secular outlook,comradeship, spirit of adventure, and selfless service—Sophia College (Autonomous), Ajmer consistently motivates its students to move beyond their comfort zones and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
The College has both Army and Navy Wings functioning under the NCC, affiliated respectively with 5 Raj Battalion,Udaipur and 2 Raj Naval Unit, Ajmer. A total of 50 cadets is enrolled in the Army Wing, while 80 cadets form part of the Navy Wing.
The Army Wing functions under the able guidance of Associate NCC Officer (ANO) Lt. (Dr.) Kumud Khatri, and the Navy Wing under Care Taker Officer (CTO) Mr. Deepak Balani.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SESSION 2025-26
- ARMY WING
- Under Officer Neha Rathore brought laurels to the institution by representing the college at the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp, held in New Delhi from 1st September to 12th September 2025
- Sergeant Komal Charan and Cadet Katyayani Diwakar had the distinguished honour of participating in the Army Day Camp and proudly represented the contingent in the Army Day Parade on 15th January 2026 at Mahal Road, Jaipur
- Sergeant Komal Charan, Sergeant Tanisha, and Cadet Kritika Khangarot successfully participated in the Rock Climbing Training Camp at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand (12th–17th October 2025)
- Cadet Bhanu Pradeep, Cadet Kritika Khangarot, and Cadet Chhavi Prajapati represented the college at the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp held at Udaipur (24th December 2025 – 4th January 2026)
- Cadet Nikita Joshi exhibited commendable dedication and perseverance by successfully advancing up to the Inter Group Competition–I stage in the rigorous Thal Sainik Camp selection process.
- A proud contingent of 13 cadets from the college successfully completed the CATC-XIV cum RDC Launching Camp (24th October – 2nd November 2025)
- Cadet Bhanu Pradeep was conferred a Special Honour by the Group Commander during the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp, in recognition of her outstanding dancing skills and significant contribution to cultural performances, thereby bringing pride to the institution.
- NAVY WING
- “Leading Cadet Anjali Pancholi and Cadet Khushi Sharma proudly represented their unit at the international-level Desert Safari Camp (YEP) 2025, conducted under the National Cadet Corps as part of the Youth Exchange Programme.(12th Nov. to 21st Nov. 2025)
- PO Ritvika Rathore brought great pride and laurels to the college by representing it at the most prestigious national-level Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026, organized by the National Cadet Corps in New Delhi, held from 28 December 2025 to 29 January 2026, and had the distinct honour of being the only cadet selected to represent Rajasthan.
- Cadet Arpita Chouhan and Leading Cadet Muskan Sisodia participated in the Drone Training Camp conducted under the National Cadet Corps.(17th November to 26th November 2025)
- Two cadets—PO Ritvika Rathore and Leading Cadet Prerna Rathore—represented the college at the Inter Group Competition (IGC) Camp conducted under the National Cadet Corps from 03rd Nov.2025 to 11th Nov. 2025
- One cadet, CC Arpita Chouhan, represented the college at the national-level INA Camp 2025 (Indian Naval Academy Camp),conducted under the National Cadet Corps for Naval Wing cadets, held from 15 December to 26 December 2025.
- Four students—Anjali Chauhan, Dhaneshwari Tanwar, Ritvika Rathore, and Saroj Kaswa—participated in the Sailing Expedition Camp held from 10 November to 19 November 2025.
- CC Arpita Chouhan proudly represented the college at the prestigious All India Nau Sainik Camp (AINSC) 2025, a national-level camp conducted by the National Cadet Corps for Naval Wing cadets at INS Shivaji, held from 1 September to 12 September 2025.
